we are super excited and hope to have many visitors. matt and kristy you better come and eat some real buffalo wings. who knew that being a buffalo once again was in my future. hmmmm.....

it's official....

we are leaving logan. cory found out that he matched today... unfortunately we have to wait for the clearinghouse to go through before we find out where!?! who knew that i would want monday to come so fast. we find out where monday at 8am.

so now we gotta sell our house, pack, and purge...yikes!!!

the man cake...

and nita turns 30. it was our good freinds birthday and i made her this "borat" cake. she was so surprised and shocked... but she loved it. it was fun making and quite a hit at the party. i have had a lot of time on my hands and sitting in the kitchen doing this was hilarious. i had the giggles!

this is what happens...

when your neighbor thinks he's funny. i showed up at a friends house and this was waiting for me in their driveway. so now the kids want to put it in our driveway.

whoa girl...

so after a weekend on hell my knee is better. on friday when i went to PT they were really worried that i had somehow gotten an infection in my knee... it was red and super swollen and HOT like it had a fever. cory played the super dictator this weekend and made me stay down with leg elevated and iced. other than falling down the stairs, my leg was not used much. yesterday when i went to PT it wasn't bruised hardly at all, the swelling had gone down and they took out my STITCHES. they still think that it may have been infected and still slightly, but since it didnt worsen and got better... i am still on schedule for my recovery. HOORAY!!!

in other news... cory leaves in the wee hours (4am) to fly out to knoxville, TN for an interview. whoa... it is becoming more and more real. he has gotten through 11 interviews and has three more to go. then we are taking off the weekend of the 28th to check out austin in person. he is having a hard time deciding between austin and knoxville so we figured we should take a look at both places. he has to have his top 5 ranked by february 3... and then we will find out where he matched on the 19th of feb. we will either be UT volunteers or UT longhorns!?!

one week post surgery...

and the nasty bruising has set in. these pictures dont really do the bruises justice. my whole knee is bruised and sickly looking. still swollen but not as bad as a week ago. you can almost see that i have a knee cap now *winkwink* hopefully only one more week on crutches...PLEASE only one more. i am so sick of them!

and here are the results of the surgery and my first appointment at physical therapy. there was more blood and swelling than i had anticipated. and i get to wear the loverly tedhose for 2-4 weeks. yay!
