in the works here. the kids had a blast playing in the sand. the beach was so great. really nice soft sand and it wasnt super busy. wren bawled when it was time to go home. thankfully our friends live here over the summer and said we could come back!
and lake ontario. some friends of ours have a little summer cottage in canada along the ontario beach. they invited us up for the day. it was amazing. the water was the perfect temperature and the weather was beautiful after 10 days straight of rain. they said we could come back anytime... they may regret telling us that!
we found a cool little trail that was mostly flat and had a waterfall and a quarry. it also has two huge oak trees. pretty cool little trail although we got eaten alive by the mosquitos. curse those little devils.
the first graders put on a mothers day tea. there were timbits (donut holes from tim hortons) apple juice and cookies. then they sang us four songs and gave us a bunch of things they had made. it was super cute!
and grandma wont stand still. we had the very special pleasure of having family come and see us. gramma karen and poppa steve. i think we wore them out... we went all over and even took them to toronto. we had a great time... ate LOTS of great food and we miss them terribly. anyone else wanna come for a visit... we would LOVE it!
the girl scout troop showing off earth day bags...only one more meeting. hooray. i can BARELY take all the squealing and hysterics each week. what a nutty bunch!
the kids cant get enough of the swings. they just put in a new playground at their school and its been all the rave. cory participated this time and showed off his harry bagel!
