a 1.5 mile walk to the bus stop turned into a 3.7 mile walk/run and the kids laying on the ground crying, hot and sweaty. what a great mom i am... we did catch the bus and spent the day in downtown walking more and the kids were troopers. my heels did not fair well... they both ended up looking like hell.
