scroll on down to start at the beginning...

of our NYC adventure!

tuckered out...

trip home...

was crazy. there was sooo much snow and no plows or taxis. our train that was suppose to leave at 7 am didnt end up leaving until 3 pm. all flights were canceled... no place was open. it was crazy at penn station. but we finally got on the train and got home!

day after christmas...

started out beautiful. blue skies... warm... and then the STORM OF THE CENTURY hit. haha... that is what everyone was calling it. it was crazy and fun and cold... we ferried out to lady liberty, went over to times square and then as we were trying to get from the subway back to the hotel dylan and i got separated from cory and wren. i looked up and i couldnt see ANYTHING. not his footprints... nothing. it was so windy dylan and i got thrown up against a poll. we found a large window well and took shelter while dylan did a pee dance and cried that we were lost. then out of nowhere cory came and saved us. our hotel was like 100 ft in front of us but i couldnt see ANYTHING. good times.

christmas day at central park...

there was hardly anyone at the park which is soooo different from how it typically is. the kids and cory played hide n seek and just ran around like crazy people. there was no snow and it was nice out!

christmas mornin...

the kids slept in for ONCE! i think all the walking and getting in late the night before took it out of them. we slept until 8am. YAY!!!

christmas eve night...

we took the kids to little italy to eat pasta (our fam tradition is to eat spaghetti christmas eve), then off to find a tree which did not happen... so we ended up with a little stuffed toy tree that we decorated with a few ornaments i brought from home.
