fish lake...

and snow shoeing. we spent the long weekend and valentines with the banbury side in cabins at fish lake. here are some not so glamorous photos of us snow shoeing in a little blizzard. and the little ol'lady falling because she is a weeblette!

wilton course 3...

so my neighbor and i took the wilton course one last month and then her hubby signed us up for course three this month. good times. let me tell you how awesome it is when you are driving home holding two cakes and then your friend who is driving hits a bump and you "lose" the two cakes. yeah we had quite the mishap on the way home. good times people, good times!
so this is my first cake. the course that we are in is the fondant/gum paste class. it is so much easier than the first two courses. working with fondant and gum paste is a dream.

heart cuppycakes...

for balentines day party. wren has been obsessed with cuppy cakes since watching something about them on either the electric company or sesame street podcast. anyhoo... here are the ones that we made for her little preschool.

yeah so here is the latest gig poster for cory's band. some of our friends got me these amazing recipe cards from the thrift store and well we had to use them for something, i mean frankfurters are a healthy way to start the day and who doesn't love salmon mouse?
